Senior Performance Tester

Technical | Project Based | Hybrid | Makati

Primarily responsible for reviewing system requirements, designing and implementing tests, and tracking quality assurance metrics. The role entails a deep understanding of quality assurance and control activities. The right candidate will have experience in recommending steps to prevent issues and defects based on adherence to quality standards and the results of quality metrics.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Responsible for creation, delivery and maintenance of automated scripts for performance testing projects
  • Prepare effort estimates, status reporting, and quality metrics for performance testing projects.
  • Develop performance test strategy/planning, test case development and coding.
  • Load and performance testing developing, execution and reporting.
  • Architect maintainable and extendable automated test framework in order to test performance of the applications within the company premise.
  • Act as subject matter expert on JMeter and other tools available.
  • Provide automated reporting of tests and tests results of performance testing.
  • Escalate issues & communicate the status of deliverables to key stake holders.
  • Provide leadership and work with the team in managing scope, issue resolution, project priorities, support & operations.
  • Keep leadership apprised on the progress, risks in performance testing practice with timely updates, metrics & reports as required.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task & adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Quantitative tracking of project quality and completeness.
  • Prevent recurrence of issues by identifying trends and implementing fix.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, project managers, offshore & nearshore resource teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4-5+ years of experience as Senior QA Automation Tester
  • Experience in using JMeter and Github is required
  • Okay to accept project-based employment
  • Okay to accept hybrid work setup with once or twice a week onsite in Makati
