Scrum Master

Technical | Project Based | Hybrid | Makati

Scrum master manages product and software development teams as a servant leader. They act as advocates of Agile practices and scrum framework values. They work to increase team efficiency and provide motivation and guidance for process improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Preparation, organization and facilitation of the Scrum ceremonies, meetings.
  • Act as a servant leader of the scrum team and remove impediments on a team level to ensure the undisturbed focus of the team on the sprint goal, protect the team from external unplanned requests.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to handle backlogs and new requests.
  • Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach the team on the agile methodology towards maturity on the practice, at a sustainable pace for the team and organization.
  • Establish and report on sprint progress using Scrum metrics e.g., burn-down chart, velocity, quality
  • Develop a continuous improvement of scrum teams mindset. Educate teams and embrace Scrum and Agile mindset thoroughly by actively practicing principles
  • Improve and support the best use of tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) by the team and the PO (Product Owner)
  • Work closely with the other Scrum Masters and Product Owners of other Scrum teams and with the Agile coach.

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience on a scrum team; preferablyhas a minimum of 2 years of work experience as Scrum Master / Agile Coach / Agile Delivery Lead role for at least one Scrum team
  • Strong knowledge in Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Good problem-solving skills and well organized.
  • High level of confidence with JIRA & Confluence
  • Okay to accept Project-Based Type of Employment
  • Amenable to work twice a week onsite in Makati
