Manila, 13 June 2013 – Meridian Assurance Corporation has chosen Computer Professionals, Inc. (CPI)’s GENIISYS as its integrated, web-based insurance system to support the different functions of its operations.

GENIISYS was selected over two other shortlisted insurance applications because it was found to be the most suitable to the requirements of Meridian Assurance. GENIISYS is also the most widely used general insurance software in the Philippines and Meridian Assurance can reap the benefits of a mature and full-function application built on industry-standard and robust technology.

GENIISYS will support Meridian Assurance’s departments from Marketing, Underwriting, Claims, to Accounting and integrate them into a streamlined business process.

GENIISYS will also provide a more reliable computerized accounting system that will enable the company to automate its critical business reports and lessen its manually intensive tasks.

One of the significant features of GENIISYS is branch connectivity. With GENIISYS web technology, Meridian Assurance head office can efficiently manage its branches in Cebu and Davao, while users will be able to process claims, policies and inquiries faster and more effectively thus providing better services to their customers.

Meridian Assurance Chairman and President Manuel C. Lozano Jr. expressed his full support to the project and he also encouraged the employees to take part in making the implementation a success.

Meridian Assurance IT Manager Jojo Cinco also looks forward to further maximize the technology as they expand their customer base and to have a long term relationship with CPI as a partner.
