Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Technical | Project Based | Hybrid | Makati

The techno-functional Sr. DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing the DevOps Strategy, maintaining and presenting a clear DevOps onboarding and maturity roadmap for multiple Core and Digital and other Departments and interact with Global / Regional / PH Stakeholders and create/build a strong relationship between various application dev/operations (DCS) and monitor apps, infra/cab process and service process (incident as well as problem tickets).

What You Will Be Doing

  • This role would involve Regional and Global Cloud DevSecOps Team, PH internal, Product Owners, Regional/PH Architect, scrum master, champions, cross teams (Dev, PMO, QA) Web services, Database & senior leadership team.
  • Key KPI would be to reduce the time to deploy into Production, various Metrics will be increasing infra side availability and uptime, increase deployment frequency (by strengthening process / testing cycles/development and process efficiency) bring security scans at non prod level.
  • The Sr. DevOps Engineer is responsible for the working closely with BA, SM, PO for product portfolio backlog, continuous process improvements and product features from C2C (concept to Closure) meaning from due diligence to go live for the whole DevSecOps lifecycle
  • Baseline and monitor challenges in results, and feedback for our products and make proactive decisions to further enhance our solutions and continuously improve the value proposition to customers (Agency/Banca/Broker/Walk-ins) digitally
  • Preferably with knowledge on mobile technologies (Android)
  • Should have knowledge and experience in these DevOps Tools:
  1. Docker and Kubernetes
  2. Collaboration and ITIL – Jira/Service Now
  3. Databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL
  4. Integration using Jenkins
  5. Source Controls : Github
  6. Testing Tools: Selenium, Junit/Jmeter
  7. Windows and Linux
  8. scripting and programming in Bash, Java, Javascript, Python

What We’re Looking For

  • Has at least +3 years of experience in Information Technology, managing Deployments or related position and using Enterprise Devops / Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Preferably with experience in cloud based infra and apps in AWS, MS Azure or Google
  • Experience in CI continuous integration /CD delivery planning tools
  • Any global Certification / recognition in DevOps / AWS certification is a plus
  • Wiliing to accept Project-Based Type of Employment
  • Amenable to work 2x a week onsite in Makati
