Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques to support the organization’s data-driven initiatives. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and loading from various sources 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and structures 
  • Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security to ensure compliance and integrity of the data infrastructure 
  • Optimize and tune database systems and queries for performance and scalability 
  • Lead and mentor junior data engineers, providing guidance and expertise in data engineering best practices 

What We’re Looking For

  • Has 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on data modeling
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data models for relational and non-relational databases
  • Has experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration techniques
  • Good knowledge of SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases
  • OK to accept Project-Based Type of Employment
  • Amenable to work 2x a week onsite in Makati
